I have to get some really big jobs from the sign company first to pay for it, and frankly business around here is too slow right now. But we are a very small company and can't just come up with the money to pay for the software yet. Well actually after looking into other things I decided this was my best bet. So now I just need to make the decision to buy it. unfortunately I don't know who bought all of his laser stuff because they were just going to use it in a die shop type thing so I can't go back and try it anymore. A friend of ours that had a laser for industrial usage had a very old copy, version 1.11 or something he said, and he just recently sold out of all of his laser stuff, before he did though we tried his version of photograv, and i was trying to get the marlbe to work, since that seems to be the only thing I can't seem to get the settings right to use just the driver from my system. We don't have a copy of our own to use for photo grav.
So far, our upgrades have been pretty minor, so that we haven't charged for them, except for $10.00 shipping & handling for the CD. You are right, we used to have patches available on our web site, but decided it was better to provide a new CD. We hope to come out with a fairly major upgrade this year. We can almost always help the customer - that's what our tech support is for!! We are always very disappointed and frustrated when a customer is having difficulties and doesn't bother getting in touch with us. Most of our customers are getting much better results than they were without it, if they take the time to learn it and get it touch with us if they are having any problems. We're glad that you are getting good results with PhotoGraV. Since we have never had a trial version of PhotoGraV, I am curious as to where your purchased your "trial" version.
If I recall correctly (and most times I don't) but I thought you had patches available on your website for 2.11? (and that was 3 years ago when I bought PG) gravy:-)īut my main reason for butting in is: what -if any- are furture developemnt plans for the PhotoGrav product? I have v.2.11 I made my purchase price back in less than 5 jobs. I can't speak highly enough of PhotoGrav. Wow, fancy to see another vendor here representing their product.
